Took the Narrative with me on my trip to Lebanon for work after it was so beautifully blue the day before. Alas, it was grey and cloudy this day, but still an interesting look at my occasional commute:

11:11 PM: narrative: bike ride to standing stones [#] [2]

the weather was too beautiful to stay inside, so i went on a little bike ride. i thought i would go to Boring but I accidentally found a field of standing stones and had to explore it. it's my new favorite place. in this video i love that i can see my shadowcycle and that you can see sven walking into the house when i get home. unfortunately, the narrative slips after the bridge and the brake cable is in the way for a big chunk of the video. i think i've fixed that for the future.

it was busy on the Springwater. i love taking photos of other bicycles but even with the Narrative I rarely capture any. today: several!

when i need to go to ohsu on the hill, i ride my bike to the tram and ride the tram up. it's too bad the band i'm using to attach the Narrative to my handlebars slipped and obscured the lens a bit past clinton st.

i tried to find a park and failed, so i ended up at another park. i have no idea why so many frames are SO WAVY in this Narrative video, even on the paved bits. often a few of them are, but not quite like this.

took the narrative on a trip to wilsonville w/ carye:

 

when traveling on a bike, the narrative takes photos i never would take because it would be too dangerous or a hassle, but i love them!

of course, excepting an accidental selfie like the one above, it's still nice to have someone else around to take photos like these:

4.4 miles in the rain to Jenne road. But I finally figured out where to put the Narrative on Leira so that only a smidge of brake cable shows in the lower right corner. It slipped after rattling across he bridge though, so I should either wrap it more tightly or just be more aware. Also, I am pleased it handed the rain better than I did.

9.2 miles on the Springwater Corridor Trail and the Gresham Fairview Trail. The Narrative is obviously not thrilled with Portland's moody lighting conditions:

yesterday Katura & I explored Division looking for tiny statues as part of the installation "This All Happened More Or Less." I have never walked that length of Division before. I think the statues are at least five times cuter with the scarves and gifts people have left for them.
