We expect amazing blogging about your trip, so I want you to worry every moment, "How am I going to write about this?"
Any time for a quick read of William Burroughs' Interzone to really put you in the right mood? (grin)
ha! no pressure, indeed! i'm arranging a photo review at a local gallery which will require some amount of talking, which is already worrisome enough. :)

i didn't read interzone, but i read the arabian nights, which is much less cohesive as an overall story than i thought. however, it's got the weirdest "talking animal" element i think i've ever read: a woman asks four fish frying in a pan, "fish, fish, are you doing your duty?" and they say, "yes, yes. if you reckon, we reckon. if you pay your debts, we pay ours. if you fly, we conquer, and we are content." buh? |
